Showrunner

Design the show. Sync it to the music. Price the rig.

Segal Showrunner is the production console where a show is composed against music or video — lighting, lasers, video walls, pyro, and autonomous drone swarms on a single beat-locked timeline — then turned into an equipment bill of materials and cost estimate wired to the Segal Media catalog.

Runs fully offline — mock catalog, tap-tempo, and a bundled royalty-free demo track. Zero credentials required.

01

Three-source sync

Reference-audio beat detection, tap-tempo, or an optional third-party BPM service — all feed one master clock with drift correction.

02

Cue + auto-cue engine

Lighting, laser, video, pyro and drone effects on a beat-locked timeline. Generators turn a beat grid into editable cue sets.

03

Drone choreography

Formation → assignment → safety pipeline with a validated SafetyEnvelope. Export Skybrush .skyc + waypoint CSV.

04

Rig + instant BOM

Compose the venue's hardware from the Segal Media catalog; get a live bill of materials and a branded cost estimate.

// Engineered constraints

  • No Spotify audio-analysis. Spotify is used only for auth, metadata, and Web Playback transport — beat grids come from local analysis or tap.
  • Beat detection runs only on user-supplied local audio. Spotify/YouTube streams are DRM-protected and never analysed.
  • One master clock interpolates position between polls and re-syncs on every seek/buffer — the cue engine never reads a raw poll.
  • Laser, pyro and drone exports pass through a single compliance gate. Output is a design artifact, not an authorization to operate.
